Doukou names the precise instant. The knowledge of the moment when accumulated power must be released to close a cycle.
The composition opposes two regimes. Curved lines cross the space like currents: cosmic rhythms, lunar cycles, the seasons that govern all ripening. Angular forms punctuate these flows like decisions. Sowing, pruning, harvest.
The whole turns around an invisible centre. Tension is at its maximum just before resolution.
It hung for six months in Paris, 117 rue d'Aboukir, in a men's clothing and barber shop, from December 2020. It was then given away. Its present location is not established.
