The House

SEYMR® was founded in 2018. The name comes from the Latin Maurus.

The matrix work is HUMAN ALGORITHM: black oil-ink marker on Arches paper, raisin format, 50 × 65 cm, copy no. 1 of 1. It was presented on the Redwood Art Group platform in 2021 at a price of 198,000 dollars.

Six original works extend the matrix. Each is in a single copy, in the same medium. The seven works are inscribed on Polygon. The tracing took place in Île-de-France, between 2019 and 2022. The corpus is closed.

Nine numbered editions derive from them. They are produced in London, in a single manufactory and with no subcontracting whatsoever, on the materials and to the specifications set by the House. The Paper print alone is the exception: it is printed on a short circuit in the French Antilles. Every edition piece is made after order: the House holds no stock.
