The House
SEYMR® was founded in 2018 by Lucas S. JEAN. The name comes from the Latin Maurus: the SEYMR® name.
The corpus counts seven original works, each with its certificate on the blockchain. Eight numbered editions derive from them, made to order in London by a partner workshop.
Four aims guide the work: to discipline the gesture, to pass on a memory, to decolonise the gaze, to make the hidden order of the world legible.
The artist
Born in 1999 and from Kaloukaera, the founder drew every work in the corpus.
