How are the editions made?
To order, in London, by a partner workshop working to the House specification. Details on The Atelier page.
What does “numbered edition” mean?
Each copy carries its number and the total, for example 7 of 22. Once the last number is assigned, the edition closes and is never reissued.
What is the certificate on the blockchain for?
Each original work has a unique digital certificate recorded on a public blockchain: anyone can check its authenticity and transfer history online. The editions come with a numbered certificate. See the specimen.
Are the images photographs?
The images of the editions are visualisations, marked as such. The original works are reproduced from photographs.
What are the lead times?
Made in 2 to 3 working days, then 2 to 5 days to mainland France, 3 to 5 days internationally; about two weeks, production included, to the French overseas territories and the French-speaking Caribbean. Production and delivery.
How can I pay?
By card on a secure payment page, or by bank transfer. Above €2,000, by named quotation paid by bank transfer.
Can I cancel or withdraw?
Free cancellation within 30 minutes of confirmation. A consumer then has 14 days from receipt to withdraw, except for a personalised piece. Terms of sale.
Are taxes added outside mainland France?
Import taxes levied in the overseas territories, including dock dues (octroi de mer), and outside the European Union may be payable by the recipient.
Which guarantees apply?
The two-year legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects. A defect is reported within 14 days of receipt, with photographs. Returns and refunds.
Are the original works for sale?
Six of the seven are offered, by private agreement and on consultation; DOUKOU is placed. Book an appointment.
Architects, hotels, designers: how do I order?
By named quotation, on WhatsApp or by email. Manufacturing defects are handled as for a private buyer.
How do I receive the catalogue raisonné?
Through the form on the home page. The request adds you to no list.
